First Week of School

Our first week of school was awesome here at Devon Middle School. It is so nice to see all the eager faces returning to school. It is our hope that your child has transitioned well back to the routine of early mornings and regular school work.

There have been a few questions about how best to support our student with severe allergies. We would like to thank all our Devon Middle School families for their cooperation with this serious matter. To help with lunch ideas the Clark family has kindly forwarded some suggestions that may help with preparing lunches for your child.

I would also like to thank everyone for their quick response in sending in the student fees. These fees are essential in providing programs and enrichment for our student body. Our fees are $25.00 per student and $40.00 per family.

Our first School News Letter of the year went home today as well, please check your child's book bag for it as it contains information of important dates and procedures on the operation of our school.

Mrs. Fox will be teaching at Fredericton High school this year as a guidance counselor. We all want to wish her good luck and let her know we will miss her.

Our Meet the Teacher and PSSC elections will be held September 22, 7:00 pm. We have planned a welcome Barbecue at 6:00 pm and all families are invited. Our PSSC is looking for one new member this year.If you are interested in join us you can pick up a nomination form at the school. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 22nd.
