No School for Students

There is no school for Devon Middle School students on October 7 and October 8 due to Professional Development days for teachers. On October 11, school is closed for Thanksgiving Holidays.

Here is hoping all students and thier families will have a restful and safe long weekend.

Safety Week September 30 - Oct 6

School District 18 has proclaimed September 30 – October 6, 2010 as “Safe Schools Week”.

Safe Schools Week is held each fall to help heighten the awareness for creating and maintaining an environment in schools where students, teachers, parents and others feel safe. This week provides an excellent opportunity for schools and the community partners to be proactive as we continue to provide the safest possible environment for our students. During the week, many activities are planned by the schools including practice fire drills, school bus evacuations, lock down scenarios, and presentations on anti-bullying and cyber-bullying.
